About Population Services
We have been working in Zimbabwe since 1987, an affiliate of Marie Stopes International, providing family planning and sexual reproductive health services.
We provide a wide range of high quality, affordable and client-centred services and information to women, men and young people through a network of 9 centres, 15 MS Ladies more than 100 Public Sector Strengthening sites and multiple mobile outreach teams to help over half a million women each year to choose when they have children.
How we deliver our services
Population Services Zimbabwe operates in every single region of the country, delivering services and information to the country’s underserved communities in a number of different ways.
Our clinics
We currently operate 11 static clinics in Zimbabwe. These centres provide quality family planning services and other sexual reproductive health services.
Mobile outreach
We operate 10 outreach sites, with each team consisting of midwives, doctors, nurses and drivers who travel to hard-to-reach and underserved parts of the country.
Call centre services
Our clients are always free to contact us with any concerns or queries they may have. Our helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff are there to guide our clients on a variety of issues.
Public sector strengthening
Population Services Zimbabwe aims to work within and help improve the health systems countrywide, providing policy support and advocacy.
Social marketing
We use social marketing to ensure that people have the option to buy high-quality, sexual and reproductive healthcare products in a location that’s convenient.
Quality assurance
We use evidence to guide our decisions and use a best practice approach through all the work we do.
